Puppet Designer, Maker, Set maker  and Director

In a collaboration between Nottingham Trent and Blind Summit, I was asked to design, make and perform a play ‘Love Suicides at Sonezaki’ written by famous Japanese play writer Chikamatsu.

 

We were each asked to design and make a ‘Bunraku’ style puppet. I chose to make the Vilan called Kuheji.

 

Throughout this process, we were guided by Nick Barnes who s the Artistic Director of Blind Summit.
